Terms of Use

Effective / Last updated: June 7, 2026

1. Who we are

Oregon Expungement Lawyers ("OEL," "we," "us") is a service of Huegli Law LLC, a licensed Oregon law firm. This website describes our legal services and lets you check whether your Oregon record may qualify for expungement (a motion to set aside under ORS 137.225).

2. Attorney advertising and general information

This website is attorney advertising. The content on this site is provided for general informational purposes only and is not legal advice for your specific situation. Reading this site, using our eligibility tool, or contacting us does not, by itself, make us your lawyers. Laws change and every record is different — do not act, or decline to act, based only on information you read here. For advice about your specific circumstances, speak with a licensed attorney.

3. No attorney-client relationship until a signed engagement agreement

Using this website or submitting the eligibility form does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship with Huegli Law LLC begins only when both you and the firm have signed a written engagement agreement that describes the scope of representation. Until that agreement is signed:

  • We are not your attorneys and are not representing you.
  • We are not responsible for any deadlines, filings, or actions in your matter.
  • Information you submit through the site is reviewed to evaluate whether we can help, but submitting it does not obligate us to take your case, and we may decline representation.

Please do not send us confidential or time-sensitive information expecting that it is protected by the attorney-client privilege until we have agreed in writing to represent you.

4. Eligibility check

Our eligibility tool applies criteria from ORS 137.225 and related Oregon statutes to the information you provide. It is an informational screening, not legal advice and not a guarantee of eligibility or of any court outcome. The tool can only work with the answers you enter and cannot account for every fact that may affect your case. A final eligibility determination is made only after an attorney reviews your record, and the court makes the ultimate decision on any motion to set aside.

5. Scope of representation and flat fee

When we agree to represent you, we charge one flat fee of $700 for our representation on a motion to set aside a conviction or arrest under ORS 137.225. The scope of that representation is governed by your signed engagement agreement, which controls if anything here differs from it.

6. No guarantee of outcome

We do not and cannot guarantee that any court will grant your motion to set aside. Court decisions depend on many factors, including judicial discretion, District Attorney objections, and your complete criminal and arrest history. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome in your matter. Our flat fee pays for our legal services, not for a particular result.

7. Payment

Our flat fee is displayed on this website and confirmed before you pay. Unless your engagement agreement states otherwise, the flat fee is due as described at the time of engagement, and payments are processed through our third-party payment processor. Refund terms, if any, are governed by your engagement agreement.

8. Acceptable use of this website

By using this website, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when using the eligibility tool or contacting us.
  • Use the site only for lawful purposes and not to disrupt or misuse it.
  • Not treat the eligibility result or any site content as a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney about your specific situation.

The content, design, and materials on this website are owned by Huegli Law LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. You may view and use the site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes only.

9. Privacy

Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Huegli Law LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website or its informational content. Nothing in these terms limits any duty we owe to a client under the Oregon Rules of Professional Conduct or applicable law once an attorney-client relationship is formed by a signed engagement agreement; the scope of any such representation, and any limitation of liability within it, is governed by that agreement.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute relating to this website or its content shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Oregon.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of this website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The date of the most recent update is noted at the top of this page.

Attorney advertising. Hiring an attorney is an important decision. Using this site does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship; representation begins only when a signed engagement agreement is in place. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
